Further highlighted offerings this afternoon:

At 1900/3:00PM, Handel's successful first opera in London, Rinaldo, starring David Daniels, with colleagues Bernarda Fink, Cecilia Bartoli, Gerald Finley, Luba Organasova and Bejun Mehta, conducted by Christopher Hogwood; heard over Lyric FM.

And those who may not be able to catch WCNY's exciting Glimmerglass Dialogues of the Carmelites this afternoon, with Maria Kanyova as Blanche, Joyce Castle as Madame de Croissy, Robynne Redmon as Mother Marie, Sarah Coburn as Sister Constance, Anne Evans as Madame Lidoine and Jake Gardner as the Marquis de la Force, can still hear this performance this evening at 2300/7:00PM over WDAV.

Also this evening, at 0000/8:00PM, WCLV brings us Franz Welser-Moest's reading of the Verdi Requiem, with Vaduva, Grove, Beczala and Reiter.

Finally, at 0200/10:00PM, KING starts its complete coverage of this week's Seattle RING cycle, with Das Rheingold, starring Richard Paul Fink's Alberich (Grimsley, Kazaras, Blythe and Podles also in the cast).
