Commemorations of the thirtieth anniversary of Callas' death (for today, see Espace 2, KBYU and MDR Figaro) continue through the week, as do tributes to Pavarotti (WOMR, after its opera broadcast). Some intriguing things on the boards for today: France Musique's La Traviata with Christine Schafer, Jonas Kaufmann and Jose van Dam; BBC 3's Candide from the Edinburgh Festival with Matthew Polenzani, Laura Aiken and Thomas Allen; CBC Two's Boris Gudonov with Ferruccio Furlanetto; San Francisco Opera's Maid of Orleans with Dolora Zajick; Houston Grand Opera's Cenerentola with Joyce DiDonato and Lawrence Brownlee; and NRK Alltid Klassisk and NRK P2's Die Walkure from Oslo with Jane Eaglen and Trond Halstein Moe.
